lol, i had to double check the date of the OP... i did this with my wrx back in 04... not only did it not make any noticeable difference.. everyone asked why my hood was open... or if i had gotten in a crash.

i lol'd at them..

ps.. then again, my wrx had a big ass scoop in the front, so venting probably wasnt an issue to begin with? either way, it looks stupid and lets water/dust/dirt into your engine bay...
