Default bigger throttle body on moderate turbo setup

Running stock intake manifold, gt35r at 18 psi just wondering if anyone has bored out the stock intake manifold opening and put on a 70 or 74mm throttle body and picked up any gains or dynos ?

Thanks

gains will be minimal to none, i wouldn't waste the money, can be spent elsewhere

I read going too big makes it hard to modulate speed.

Not sure if this is right but I have been told that a 70mm TB is better suited for a supercharged car/ NA car.

Thanks.

I can see a turbo benefitting most than an sc setup.

Cheers

Bigger is not always better. The key word is velocity.

Thanks but I don't see how that link really helps.

the 74mm tb didn't change much for me. I can feel a slight difference while driving that's about it. I picked up the fbm intake as well and I am interested in seeing what the combo (tb and intake) has on my setup. I will be going back for a retune after the winter build. (currently 662hp at 26psi, goal if possible is 700hp @28psi).

IMO adding just the throttle body for anything less than 600hp is pointless.

The point of the link was that just increasing the TB size and boring out the manifold does little. If it did they would not have to totally redesign the intake manifold to get a few percentage points increase in air flow.
