Default Block tolerance vs build engine ?

Situation:

500whp on 93oct + meth (turbo).....Block is off by 0.004 (upper limit of factory tollerance).......what to do, what to do...

1.) Pull engine, resurface block, build engine w/ Mahle pistons, ACl bearings, 9.5.1 comp, etc, etc w/ OEM HG & AR Headstuds -$4800 ?
2.) Leave block alone/none above and go seal up w/ OEM HG and ARP Headstuds - $1600 ?

I'm leaning toward rolling the dice and going with #2....if the block was off by more than factory tollerance then I could justify #1.

Opinions please ?

To make a long story short I didn't include you every single detail and just went to the main point.
Tolerance= between the head and the block
Cost - Yes, left off a lot of details.....just forget that part

If I had all the answers, could do my own work and unlimited $, I wouldn't ask any questions on here......but I am here so thanks for input !

.004 is pushing it with the boost you run did you suffer head gasket or routine tear down? that would help me decide if i would throw a gasket and studs in and call it a day how are your cylinders looking?

Well, the car was running hot. Thermostat wasn't the issue. Compression test failed. Head taken off to put on ARP L19/studs and OEM gasket...then found small spot on block that was 0.004 off. They said it could have been that way from factory or other...hard to say. So now back to top of thread. I'm at 17psi to get 500whp/356trq

Thanks for the link as I've heard about Laskey but never checked them out. With the sleeves I could basically throw anything at it HP wise, correct ?
The bottom end build from my guy is ~$2200 build only...but then I have to pay labor in/out which is about $1K. If I got the Laskey build I'd still have to pay $1K on top too.
At this point I'm leaning toward putting it back together with just the ARP L19s/OEM gasket and rolling the dice. If it blows in the future...just more $$$$

Thanks.

well i worked as a honda bike tech for 15 years and never saw that much from the factory sounds like you were lifting the head a bit and it gave it the ole water jet effect but without seeing pics i cant even speculate that good luck which ever way you go. does the head or gasket show anything in the same area as the block or any bowing between the shims of the head gasket? and were on the block is the depression located?
