blowed my engine…?
hi guys, yesterday i dropped the id1000 seal(the big one ,at the bottom) into my engine cylinder i think.. i lost that seal when i removed my injector..
now i hear a tickling sound on my turbo if i start… and my car is running poor and lean…
do you guys think i blowed my engine?
what guys would you start doing?
its a twin scroll s366 turbo… the turbo inlet small impeller seems to turn freely smoothly without rubbing by hand…. i have not removed the downpipe yet ..should i remove my turbo, downpîpe ? did i bent a valve? i never opened a turbo before..
what test would you start doing without having to do some work that is not needed..
thank you

Is the injector leaking out the seal, are you smelling fuel? it might not be sealed properly. That'll introduce unmetered air or not enough fuel in that cylinder and cause it to run bad. It's possible, but I don't think the old o-ring blew the engine unless it hung up a valve and a piston tapped it. Get a boroscope and take a look into the cylinder if you're worried about the o-ring.
