Blown 3mm HG MUST SEE!
So I did a compression test on my engine to check up on it. Results from 1 to 4 were: 180, 170, 180, 185
Then decided to do a leak down test:
1st cyl was about 95%
then I rotated the crank 180 degrees and went to cyl 3
Here was what I found:

So its pretty evident my hg probably is blown like Joeys and the rest (on the cylinder bridges). I thought it rather odd that you can audibly hear air rushing into cylinder 2 though and this may serve as a good test for people in the future!
So running 26psi for about 5000 miles was all it took to blow it
Most likely going the 2mm route for now!

Yeah, they seem to blow out the bridges between cylinders if they're going to blow anywhere. The 3mm I replaced was toasted between 2-3 and coolant was in 2 and 3 when the head was pulled, noticeable white smoke on start-up as well.

Have you considered the tought you ran too much boost. When I called inline pro about my car they told me 20psi or 500hp what ever comes first. At 26 psi thats just too much, I think your 3mm saved your car, your luck your did not blow your motor. I don't understand why people do not folow this rule, its seems like good advice.

ouch..that sucks man.. but 26 psi is alot..
also just because you can hear air coming from the adjacent cylinder from the one thats pressurized does not mean that the hg is blown so it will leak down between cylinders, past the coolant jackets and into the next cylinder..this more than likely is just air rushing past the rings and into the crankcase..

As for 26 psi and the 3mm. I have 2 stock engines, a f22 and a f20. And I purchased the 3mm new for $120. My intention is to extract as much hp out of these stock engines on pump before having to build one, so that being said, that's why I am pushing the envelope and once one becomes thoroughly tired, I will fully build it.
To be honest it was inevitable that the hg was going to blow given what I was throwing at it, it was only a question of how long.
