Default Blown Turbo Inlinepro

Hey guys i need some help!!! friday night i was driving my car i lost power. My car wouldnt boost and it started making a loud grinding noise like metal on metal. i called AAA and got it towed to my instal guy . after about two minutes of listening to the noise he said my bearings were shot. Now i am screwed and i dont know what to do!?!? i only have 825 miles on my setup ...its the inlinepro kit . The shop that put everything together is a great place and they fallowed every little detail when installing. I had a great tuner as well Jeff Evans broke in my turbo and tuned my car. Has anyone ever had turbo failure ? i plan on calling the guys at inline i hope they can help me out.

Is it a Precision Turbo ordered through Inline? I think a lot of people have had issues with the Precision turbos as of late...

Chris, is the turbo oiling solution sufficient for the inline kits with the parts provided??

I've got mine installed but haven't started it yet, I really don't like the return and have decided I really should drill and tap the girdle.

Have there been many issues with the oil return solution provided with your kit and if so what is your recomendation??

not sure the size of the lines. its whatever inline supplied with the kit. we did not tap into my oil pan we fallowed the pictures inline gave me. i believe my oil return runs to my drian plug i would have to ask the guys at area1320 they did my install. And yes my turbo is a Precision Turbo ordered through Inline. Chris did inline update the oul return system? i got my kit about 6 months ago.

Yeah, your kit uses the drain plug, I think all the In-line kits use the drain plug for a return. Doesn't really make a lot of sense as the return will be into the bottom of the pan, in the oil, under some pressure, so unless the oil into the turbo is under quite a bit of pressure it's not going to drain out very well.

Any comments from In-line??
