We offered that oil return kit to the drain plug and we have used them on local cars and they have worked here.

Those turbo's have a 1 year warranty on them, so send it my way and I'll get it to precision ASAP!

Or like you said, give me a phone call so I can help you figure it out.

Thanks Ya, honestly I hadn't heard of any failures related to the In-line oiling solution, this being the first (???). I figured it must work o.k. even though it appears to be a sort of kludged together, no disrespect intended. It's obviously a simple, easy way to get the oil out of the turbine housing without the hassle of driling and tapping which is one of the things I personally liked about it. I'm not terribly keen on drilling the girdle and don't really want to but it just seems like the right way to do it.

Has anyone else using the oil drain as the turbo oil return had any issues?? Just checking, I may hold off messing with it until after the tune.

Damn bro sorry to hear about your misfortune
I was with Jeff when we picked his car up from Jeff Evans that day(white s2k) And heard what your car put down nice numbers btw
Sorry to hear about this.
I would tap the girdle as a piece of mind, i dont care what other people say. It just makes sense letting the oil drain freely thru gravity.
Its a good thing you have a Inline kit there support line is outstanding. They def will not leave you hanging.
Good luck with your situation bro

i have the inline kit with everything supplied by inline or precision. i drilled and tapped the oil pan as per the inline instructions. it is at the highest point possible on the front of the pan towards the drivers side. i have had no problems with oil what so ever (knocks on wood). i feel your pain though because when i had my nitrous on my protege i blew a hole right through the piston twice. oh and i have roughly 2000 miles of hard driving on my car so far since the install

Thanks for the support guys. I will keep all of you posted with my rebuild. My main concern now is down time. I guess I'm not gonna have my car back for awhile. Now I have to pay for an un-install and a re-install. It kinda sucks because I spent so much money on the setup and it took me 5 months to save up and piece all my parts together. but at least you said it, I have inline to fall back on. no offense to others but they have great customer service.

i just got my precision gt35r installed too, around 100 miles on the car and it's already leaking oil out of the intake compressor side and i have a .35 restrictor feed and a #8 hose on my return and it sits up high with the lovefab mini-me. what sucks is that my 1year warranty ended 4 days ago and i just noticed the oil today.

Just so you don't feel bad I have seen people go through turbos faster than breakfast lunch and dinner. It can happen.
