Update:

I replaced the IAC valve but it didn't really help too much

I do feel like I smell quite a bit of fumes from under the hood but it could also just be my imagination

Not exactly sure where to go from here, so any help would be great!

Did it melt the coil? I thought you already checked the plugs.

Coil seems fine.

I could have sworn I checked the plugs, it's usually the first thing I check but I must have simply overlooked it

The tip of the coil does look a little brown but it seems to be working fine

Well, back to square 1 again.

This morning the car started doing it all over again. I checked the plugs, they were still secure. I went ahead and replaced them but it didn't help at all.

My coil packs are a little brown near the bottom (where it touches the spark plug), could that be a problem or is that color of normal wear/tear?

Weekend update:

Replaced my throttle body gasket as well as the rubber ring around the map sensor.

It's running so pig rich (10.0ish) it's ridiculous. My plugs were completely black only after two days so I replaced them again along with my primary O2 sensor.

I guess the only thing now is to get a new map sensor
