A reduction in charge air temp as well as det protection, albeit better distribution for det protection using runners with small jets, and larger jet/jets for charge air cooling. I'm currently running 6 jets. 1 pre turbo, 1 post intercooler and 4 in the runners. Sized jets based on 30 psi man pressure, but since we didn't see that much improvement from 21-27 psi boost on the dyno I may drop 1 jet size down a bit. The preturbo jet will effectively move the comp map to that of a larger compressor. My problem is the small DP is starting to back things up or it would have done more. These jets atomize so well that tip erosion from impingement isn't a problem anymore and the central (compressor wheel nut) spray further reduces this as well. I have 3 of the jet holders left if anyone is interested.
how much? any pics of your jet holder mounted up?

I thought there was some pics of it mounted floating around here somewhere, but I can't find them, and I don't feel like pulling off the air box It mounts right against the comp housing and secured with an additional 4" hose clamp. Drill a hole out the side for the line (I'll take a picture) use a connector, for ease of removal, and you're done. $ 99.00 + $10.00 shipping.

off topic but are you running a boost control solenoid on your turbo setup? also please PM me your paypal info and I'll take one of those nozzle mounts off of your hands.

Thanks

I am using the tru-boost and a solenoid, however, it would have been simpler to just use the 1052 with a solenoid. Of course I didn't have the D connector for the AEM so I ended up using the Tru boost. When the HFS-5 is within the failsafe window (fluid in tank, flow detected within failsafe window) pin 10 arms nitrous map in AEM. When conditions are met for nitrous/WI, through option selection, in
nitrous options box nitrous/WI map is triggered (pulling fuel and advancing timing)
If WI senses fault it opens circuit to AEM reverting to primary map and boost, if 1052 senses problem it reverts to primary map and pulls boost if you wire directly to PWM1 or 2 for your boost control. I am doing the same thing but in a more indirect way.

so basicly you have a map tuned with water meth inj. and it is your "nitrous map" and when there is a fault your AEM switchs to your other map which is tuned without water meth and pulls boost?

I'm assuming you could switch the WI system off when you don't want the extra power?

Pat- I was under the impression that AEM could only store 1 fuel map at a time... I originally wanted a race gas tune on top of my street tune, but was told I would have to hook up the laptop to switch the tunes... I will have to look into AEM's nitrous controls. I never thought of using it w/o nitrous...
