BOOST GAUGE.

I'd be curious to know what the error is for boost gauges.
i'm not good at reading but is this a mechanical boost gauge? if it was equalized at a higher altitude and you didn't zero it out for sea level it could show extra boost. does that sound anywhere near fathomable?
theoretically it IS possible to create some positive pressure in an n/a motor IF the car is setup to do so. it is still often a very rare occurrence and a VERY low number - 2psi might be too much to ask for.
i would count on your gauge being broken.
what i want to know is - if you got all your gauges as a package deal, thats fine... but why would you install the boost gauge? sell it to me!
well not now - i dont need broken stuff!

The only thing that I can think of is if you are getting your reading electronically from the map sensor. With my AEM, because I live at 5000ft above sealevel, with the car off, the Map sensor reads -3PSI. The only thing that I can think of, is if the guage was calibrated at a higher elevation.
If it's electronic, then I would just assume it's the calibration.

Back to the topic at hand, like others have said, it is POSSIBLE to have positive pressure on an NA motor. Older Ram-Air firebirds would create positive pressure at speed. Maybe you have one hell of an intake.
