i have a boost/vac gauge and it also sometimes goes into boost. I have the J's lip on my s2k and the holes are opened up, and air gets kinda rammed in there creating a sort of boost like effect on the gauge

theoretically it IS possible to create some positive pressure in an n/a motor IF the car is setup to do so. it is still often a very rare occurrence and a VERY low number - 2psi might be too much to ask for.

i would count on your gauge being broken.

what i want to know is - if you got all your gauges as a package deal, thats fine... but why would you install the boost gauge? sell it to me!

well not now - i dont need broken stuff!
i can guarantee you that its not broken. it run 1-2 psi on my couple runs that day after that i tried doing 1 to 2 vtec hits from 1 and 2nd gear and i cant get it to pass that 0 mark on boost.

The only thing that I can think of is if you are getting your reading electronically from the map sensor. With my AEM, because I live at 5000ft above sealevel, with the car off, the Map sensor reads -3PSI. The only thing that I can think of, is if the guage was calibrated at a higher elevation.

If it's electronic, then I would just assume it's the calibration.
nope calibration is set up on default
