BOOST GAUGE.

i have a boost/vac gauge and it also sometimes goes into boost. I have the J's lip on my s2k and the holes are opened up, and air gets kinda rammed in there creating a sort of boost like effect on the gauge

i can guarantee you that its not broken. it run 1-2 psi on my couple runs that day after that i tried doing 1 to 2 vtec hits from 1 and 2nd gear and i cant get it to pass that 0 mark on boost.

The only thing that I can think of is if you are getting your reading electronically from the map sensor. With my AEM, because I live at 5000ft above sealevel, with the car off, the Map sensor reads -3PSI. The only thing that I can think of, is if the guage was calibrated at a higher elevation.

MAybe The Gauge Is trying to tell you to stop being gay and add some boost to make the gauge work the way it was intended to be used!!!! I still cant get over that you have a boost gauge with no boost!!! maybe you should find a deal on a front mount and put that on too !!!! J/K Hope U find out whats wrong !!
