Default Boost by gear with EMS

So I finally said goodbye to the AEM F/ic. I got a ems 1052 and im still new to it. I understand I cant hook up my uego to the ems considering it's not the 1052U.

Now I'm looking to do boost by gear before the tune. My question is which boost controller is best and easiest to install, and some installation tips aswell.

My second question is where under the stearing wheel is a hook up for gauge lights(oil press, and boost gauges). I want to hook them up to turn on with the head lights.

Thanks guys

I would use the AEM's controller and just be reasonable with your targets or plumb in a front wheel speed. The series 2 is very easy to set up gear based targets.

exactly what he said. for v1 box, just do boost by speed and log the speeds each gear is in. wont be perfect but be goood enough

search the aemforums and there is a 30 or 40 dollar boost controller that you wire into the aem. i dont remember much about it right now, but i will be picking one up soon myself. i think even evans sells it. but its really cheap for what you can do with it.
