The bowl is plastic and the WARNING says do not use organic thiners. Nothing about syn. oil mentioned. The filter looks rather solid to me ans is attached around a plastic tube with a sort of amrella under it, so you better suck 120psi neg. vacuum to suck that thing in.

I am using it for almost 2 years and had no problems. The filter element is made of small metall balls sinthered together. It is very solid.
And it works!
So i am doing my oil change as usual and I just forget that I installed the stupid KV. so when I took out the drain plug the oil is not gushing out as it normally does. So im like "Damn, I thought my oil level was ok, I guess im very low"
So then I regain control of my brain and realize that the KV has the crankcase airtight So i just popped the dipstick out...
Man that ghetto OCC is just about the cleanest install I have ever seen. I wanted to buy the same but was thinking that noone might run such a huge SOAB under his hood LOL...I got the smaller one.
Now that my car is up and running, today was the first day I put about 100 miles on her with the Krank Vents and made an interesting observation. Since the Krank Vents create such a strong vacuum through the PCV line you may want to run some type of catch tank.
Here is my home made catch can which has about 1/4" of oil after a 100mi drive. It had about 1/16" when I started.
This was all highway miles below boost 100% of the time.
