It's a slippery slope and you will get bored of it. It's also very expensive. Boost is addictive, you will want more. Period. Things will then start to break and it'll cost fortunes to fix.

You'll become familiar with words like intake temps, cooling, duty cycle, Bov, vents.

When you come to sell you will lose heaps.

You will change the character of the car.

There's only so fast you can go on public roads before you become a nuisance.

Beating Porsches and Corvettes will be fun though.

Ya plan on spending nonstop. This is the first FI car ive owned and highly doubt me going back to NA....and I am...Was a NA fanatic.

I wouldn't pull a motor down just to inspect it. Do a compression test, leak down test and inspect the fluids. If it passes all tests boost away.

another question about the rear end, my rear dif is beginning to go out, should i replace it with oem or something else?

suggestions?





also sorry if my typingis messed up. cracked laptop screen and some keys dont work well.

Going full aftermarket is a big (read: expensive) exercise. Look into a PuddyMod rebuilt OEM.

That seems to be death to the diff.......I would go the OEM route if its a DD, but obviously if this thing is seeing the track i would go with a kaaz 1.5-2 way diff. $1200-$1600
