Is the end of the input shaft machined to stock diameter/length (going to use the OEM pilot bearing/flywheel?)

Can you provide some more info on this?

As in, who did the work, what is the tranny aside from a t56? Specs/price/etc?

Would be a nice alternative for those not willing to part with the price tag of a v160.

Everything will work like stock they cut off the stock pilot and pressed one on the size of the stock s2000 pilot also they used the adapter plate to push this bell housing out far enough to use the exact same length of the input shaft as the stock s2000 tears all the pictures G Force has posted for me

The ap2 8k redline is about the max a t56 will shift at with out problems i had my t56 face plated and cryo treated also had the stock s2000 bell cut and welded to mate rite to the t56 i will u all stock s2000 Clutch parts but gm 26spline on the disk it cost no more to have this done from comp clutch

Well this is break down on cost
Stock s2000 bell 100.00
Gforce cut weld and all fab work plus the custom pilot on t56 620.00 shipped
Liberty faceplated stock gears and cryo treatment 980.00
Comp clutch 1250.50
Break down and rebuild of t56 340.00
Stock t56 from trans am 1000.00

So all in all 4290.50 but the best thing about this trans is there easy/cheap to work on and find parts for

I appreciate the info. Last I remember the t56 wouldn't spin the r's. 8k isn't even the stock redline of an ap2, of 8200, and the poor ap1 guys @ 9,000. With my built head/etc, I plan to be tearing up 9k and digging into 10k territory.

I was hoping for some better news.

Again, thanks for the info.
