good thread, good info, and good parts OP...now as far as the grammar thing goes, it really does make reading and understanding posts easier when you dont have to re-read something 2 or 3 times to get what someone was saying...with that said, i understand the whole phone thing because my phone would auto-correct with some crazy, off the wall shit...keep up the work and post vids when it gets tuned...id like to see what kind of numbers this puts out

I understand that and I'll keep everyone updated. I have been on the phone all morning with a few transmission shops and they and I seem to think with my trans being the triple and double coated syncros that it should hold the 9k shifts with out face plateing it. So that being said I'm sending out my bellhouseing next weekend if all goes well. I'm going to try it stock 1st and see how it holds worst I can do is trash a syncro and they have to be cut off anyway when it gets built.
So looks like maybe maybe maybe by Dec I'll have the t56 in the 8.8 and my car getting tuned so I'll let y'all know what's going on soon as I know

In for more details about this setup, the whole V160 thing was making me want to get rid of the S. So half the cost to make it handle the power puts things in a whole new perspective.
