boosting 15psi without headgasket?

but at $4 a gallon it makes me wonder... maybe $6 race gas wouldn't be too bad, as i only get 2 tanks a month!

C16 race gas (116 octane) is about ten dollars a gallon depending on the area

Our regular premium fuel which is 97 ron is

Not sure what RON is but usually 105+ octane is considered race gas.
What we typically use in the US if Pump Octane Number, which is an average of RON and MON.
the major problem with the meth injection is either the pump failing or electronics failing.
i wouldn't run meth daily. there is a higher failure rate. but it's cheap compare to running race gas everyday.

There is nothing special about the pumps or electronics - don't think meth injection necessarily has a high failure rate.
Buy a good one and don't go overboard with the spray rate. Some kits have self-monitoring that will pull timing and/or boost. That is safer than alot of the ECMs out there. Of course there are probably cases where someone took an aquarium pump, ran straight meth, and tried 20psi boost
If you run a moderate injection rate, maybe 2-3 gph, and you can keep your AFR safe whether the injection is on or off. Remember, its 40-50% methanol and the rest is water. Also, meth has a lower energy potential than gasoline, so it really does not enrich the AFR that much.
Don't go crazy with the amount of timing you add. Use an ECM that preserves the stock ECU function of pulling timing based on knock sensor input (like the Emanage ULT). If the meth/water fails (and you'll know via warning light) and if the ECU detects knock you're ok, plus get off the throttle.
