is anyone tuned on E85 with the MASE Kit?
me again. lol. more questions needing more answers....
Does anyone have the mase kit and is currently tuned on E85??
(or if not with the MASE kit, at least tuned on E85 and is FI)
if so, what are your PERSONAL pros and cons you've noticed in detail and how do you like it compared to regular pump gas?
reason being: $$ wise, I have a map set for ms109 but this is becoming wayyyy too expensive- the cost alone hinders me from running it all the time.
e85 is available in my area, and since its inexpensive I can use it ALL the time instead of having to switch fuels and maps everywhere I go.
so please all FI E85 runners- tell me your experiences if you're out there before I make a move...

You'll need to do the appropriate fuel upgrades, then retune. Its not that complicated. The fact that its mase's kit doens't really have an effect, e85 is e85.
If you have access to it and are ready to upgrade the fuel system, go for it.

1000CC ID's with a Boost A Pump will get you to around 500WHP at 100% duty cycle, after that you will probably need to get ID2000's.
As for the pump, I am not sure where that will take you but I would be surprised if you can get past 550WHP, without an inline pump or dual's. Either way you will need to get a return system which aslo means, a fuel rail or modifications to yours, return line, pressure regulator..........

I have MY02. I have a walbro and relay. I have ID1000's. What would I need to change to utilize E85, and would I see a benefit over my current tune on 93 (results in my sig)

I was unable to hit my goal of 500whp on e85. That is with ID1000, Walbro, and a KB BAP. Car did 442whp@13psi on a Mustang dyno. AMS who tuned my car just replaced their dynojet with this mustang dyno. They said that on everything they tuned, no matter what the power was the difference was 8% between the dynos. So I guess I got close, should be in the 470s on a dynojet.

Fullblown hanger, dual walbros, -8 returns, -8 feeds, Inline pro fuel rail, fuel lab regulator, ID2000cc, tuned on E85 @ 32psi@720whp. 75% duty cycles. Mase's kit also, MASE .

someone wants to be a cornfed bruiser!
like others said and i mentioned in the other thread, fuel is your problem.
with an inline pump i bet you can max out that 5857 on e85 and id1000. just add more base fuel pressure.
otherwise, id2000 + inline pump and you def will max out that 5857.
talk to mase and see which way he feels more comfortable with. as others have mentioned, and i know mase has tuned before, Kennebell boost a pump helps get more out of a walbro.

At only 12psi when we switched from 91 octane to E85, my horsepower went up from 395whp to 425whp with only AFR corrected and no timing changes with Mase tuning. E85 is well worth the upgrade.
