Cool Boosting, which to do?

Ok, to sum it all up, im having my engine checked out soon, and im going to either turbo or SC the engine. from what ive seen, the SC seems to be easier to deal with than the TC in all aspects?

my questions... Will i need to modify my engine to run a small turbo/SC? im looking for 350 WHP +/- a bit. I read that the stock engine can usually take it, but i also see plenty of "blow this..." threads under here.

Also, my car is a 2002, would the tranny be ok?

and which kit is recommended? Turbo or Supercharger? and Which brand of them... i know its broad, and redundant, but i would rather see people post their ideas/favorites, and if one pops up a couple times then ill probably look into that one first... thanks

ima edit that, meant 350 WHP... and would you recommend SC or Turbo? everyone says SC is easier to work around and such, but i love the sound of a turbo blow off valve

^if youre basing your decision off of a BOV sound, you are a ricer.

regardless,
you can put a bov on a sc too.

budget is pretty much what ever, id say around 6 or 7k? maybe more or less... and as for the "ricer" comment, i prefer the sound of a turbo, over the growl of an SC... thats an opinion. everyone has one. seems like everyone from what ive read says comptech SC is real nice... but im still waitin on opinions of benefits of sc over tc

So Comptech Supercharger it is... well within the price range... so ima have a Comptech Supercharger, AEM EMS, berk ceramic coated headers, 70mm hfc, and 70 mm skunk2 exhaust... that with a tune would probly be 350ish hp, so that sounds good... any other stuff i would need?
