Default BOV comparison

i had the greddy type rs before but didn't hear much sound. i now use the stock vortech bov. my friend has a greddy type s and i love the way is sounds.

would the sound differ if it is turbo or sc?? his car is turbo @ 17 psi, mine is SC @ 12 psi.

can i get the same sound?

also anyone have any experience with turbonetics raptor bov??

the greddy type s is my favoritest bov sound ever
stick with it or go with a cheaper knock off of the type s

the hks ssqv drove me nuts after a week and i threw it out

the knock off my friend had on his car sounded very similar but of course all cars with different set ups yield a slightly diff sound

blitz, tial, godzilla are all solid choices

the hks ssqv sounded great for the first few days but then got really really really obnoxious with the constant whistling -- it drove me nuts

i have the HKS SSQV and love the sound.. im only at stock boost right now so its not too loud.. though people still turn and stare

i will be getting my AEM EMS on Wednesday as well as my RC750cc injectors.. i shall order the pulley today or monday.. nothing crazy, just 9-10psi.. im told i will be happy with the BOV sound once i up the boost

..as for the whistling sound, i actually like it

shouldnt be a difference at all if they are runnin the same psi of boost. its the concept, engine closes has leftover pressure and then realesed via bov. could be wrong though

hehehe

i got sensitive ears so even an t1r 70mm drives me nuts

but the hks ssqv does have a very ear piercing sound for those who like it loud -- i enjoy it from a distance (Y)
