[QUOTE=PRS2K,Oct 6 2006, 12:20 PM] Boosting 10psi on stock compression is not good. TRUST ME!!

If your asking can you boost 10psi on stock compression? The answer is YES. Is it a good Idea to do so? Absolutely NOT.

Inlinepro sales the 3mm Head Gasket for 2 reasons.
1. To take advantage of the factory forged Internals
2. Making it safe to take advantage of the factory forged Internals

With this being said they have proven time and time again that this head gasket works! John has had his car in the 10

What turbo is it? Depeding on he trubo sizing, at 15psi, you may have to build the block...
It's a gt32/55

Wouldn't he get the same benefits by not using the 3mm HG and just staying with the stock CR and just boosting around 10 psi?
I don't want 10psi I want 15psi.

Your manifold design, exhaust, and turbine will also affect how much boost you can safely run on a stock motor.

I would also like to know what Spoolin is asking. Maybe I can ask it more clearly. I am running 11 psi on 9:1 Comp pistons and I make about 370 whp. Now someone running 7-8psi can also make 370 whp at 11:1 compression. What is the advantage of running the lower compression ratio in this situation? I did it for the added safety, althoug my engine is a bit overkill for my setup. Spoolin, is that what you were asking?
