A couple grand. It depends on what I need to get my goal. That is to be able to launch my S off the line for occasional daily driving. Also I would like to be able to take it to the track and run a 1/4 without braking something.

So I am about to go with Tinker's turbo kit. Are you saying that basically it is a matter of time before my diff explodes on me? And basically don't EVER launch the car or that will be the end of it?

Ah well.....Just gotta go easy I guess. I read the 240SX swap. Is that guy going to offer a kit or anything?

the life of your diff is directly related to how you drive and how much power you put down... I would put money for a rebuild aside just in case, but if your easy on the car, you should be fine...

I however, am not, and I'm excited about the new possibilities of swaping a 240 or R33 diff into the car... now I know what to save up for next...

I have Richmond 4.57, Comptech diff., Drive shaft shop axels.

Now my drive shaft itself is twisting and making noise.
