Built motor cam timing issue
Bascially got the motor timed dead on unfortunate I don't have time to upload pics but will try. Crank at tdc, cam idler gear lined up with the 2 colored links on the chain lined up with the punched mark on the gear, the 2 hashes on the idler gear I got parallel to the top of the head and finally the cams were dead on with each other. Crank the motor over by hand and the cams are now slightly off like a 1/2 of tooth when the number 1 cyl is at tdc and the colored links on the chain don't line up with punched mark although I know it' does take a certain amount of rotations to get that to line up. But there's no binding or anything hitting and it feels like it should. I believe this is all cause my head was milled and deck of the block wa cleaned up when it was built which basically equated to being at the max limits for both a per Honda suggests. Just very frustrated at this point as I rarely get to work on the car and when I do I feel like I take 2 steps back. Anyway let me know what you guys think I'm gunna get pictures up ASAP
