Default Built Motors

Besides Skip is anyone else using a built (aka sleeved) motor for roadracing/ track days? This would be on a turbo'd s2k.

The advantages are pretty clear.

What are the disadvantages for this? Are their still issues with the sleeves moving around or has this been solved. Anything else? If I go with this I'll be using Asura/Laskey so no need to boint out good shops.

I'm running a built motor on my former daily driver. It survived many below 0 (F) starts, dyno tuning, and a fair bit of hard running. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to road race it and my dragstrip experience was all 1/8 mile and before the motor was built.
