Mission Critical Performance (Saul Salceda) in California. K-, B-, F-series engine building guru. My longblock has been strong thus far and his engines are in two 230+mph bonneville salt flat cars.

If you are only shooting for a little over 500whp I don't know that I would spend the money on a built bottom end. There are plenty of people including me that made over 500 on a stock bottom end with no issues. I understand that you spun a bearing so you might as well get it built but you may be able to find a used motor in great shape for a lot less than the cost of a built bottom end. I am by no means trying to discourage you from the built route but I like to save money where I can. If you get a built bottom end you are gonna want more power

Yeah another stock block would be nice but it's hard to find one with low miles.. Anybody have experience with the inline pro build that uses stock sleeves and mahle pistons? I'm debating on either getting the inline pro block with mahle pistons and oem sleeves for 2800, or the laskey block with benson sleeves and cp pistons for 3600.
