Default Bye bye turbo

I had saved $4,000 to buy a Greddy kit but wouldn't you know it...

We have a slab leak in our plumbing. It's going to cost $6,000 to fix all the pipes in the house.

So no turbo for probably another year. I am so bummed.

Well that certainly sucks. You win some, you lose some. You'll be back.

I agree, homeowners will cover that.

Insurance will pay to repair the damage caused by the leak, and any damage done in the process of repairing the leak. Insurance will not cover fixing the leak itself (I know it's stupid, but it's true).

Insurance will also not cover sealing the rest of the pipes that are not leaking (yet). They would rather wait until a pipe bursts and floods the house and then pay to fix the damage.

So for our own peace of mind we're going to suck up the cost of doing the whole house.

And Greddy h8trs can pass on by cause I didn't ask for your opinion on what I should get. You pick what you want and let others do the same.
