haha, thanks. I have an upgraded throttle body, and a good header, and exhaust, and it appears Im about to have to do some headwork, so i figured Id upgrade the valvetrain while I was in there. I Was looking at Supertech valves and springs/retainers. But I was wondering if it is worth upgrading the cams or not? Anyone have any experience with that, I'd love some advice, thanks.

Not really any options right now. Hytech might have some on the horizon though. Other than that, you have to go custom. Everything else doesn't make power over stock.

Actually. I was also curious what the concensus was on using arp studs over the oem bolts. I am mainly just looking for reliability with respectable power. I am also installing a 2mm headgasket. Is it worth getting the arp studs, or do the stock bolts usually hold up just fine? The 2mm headgasket should put me down to around 9.8:1 I think. I figured then I could run the supercharger at its maximium rpm, making about 12lbs. more effeciently and building boost earlier. Anyway, worth the ARP studs? Get a cam? if so any suggestions on a cam, Thanks!

When increasing the boost of a D-Series Honda engines the first limiting restriction is the head lifting under boost pressure. I've used ARP Head Studs in two turbocharged Hondas with fantastic results. 1.6L single cam engines otherwise stock have survived much abuse at 12-14psi without worries of blown head gaskets. I don't know the improvement over the OEM Head Studs of the S2000, but I do recommend the ARP Studs heartily. They are cheap and easy to install if the head will be off in the first place.

I personally wouldn't waste the money though, as the skunk cams have been said to cause chain tensioner issues and cam chain slap, without making any more power!
changing cams and not making power is bad.
but having issues with the chain makes it even worse
you are very discouraging
