Can a FI S2k be a daily driver?
All right I just sold my 1994 Supra TT and am looking to spend between $22k-$27k for an S2k. Question is this will be my daily driver so will a Comptech S/C'd car or a turbo hold up well? I don't need/want more than 300whp and will never race the car. Other thoughts would be to buy a newer car and do exhaust/intake etc., but don't know what kind of HP numbers those ad. I just think it would be a lot cheaper to buy an 02+ car with a S/C or turbo already on it. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Thanks
Not sure on the turbo cars, but i have a Vortech S/C on my car and have had it for 2 years now and it's my daily driver.I'm at 322whp/211tq(dynojet) I put about 12k miles on my car a year. hope this helps.
comptech supercharged DD AP1 right here
the supercharger setup works very well as a DD. since the boost curve is linear, drive it normally (not redlining or shifting above 4k rpm) and it will drive almost like N/A.

Mine was a DD for about a year before I bought a CRV for some extra space and AWD to go skiing. It's definitely reliable enough to be DD'd. The only thing that's gone bad is my alternator and that's completely unrelated to my modifications.
