Default Can the OEM header heatshield be re-used?

Did a search, and i couldnt find anyone who tried this. My assumption is that I might be able to re-used the top portion of the OEM header heat shield on the greddy turbo manifold. Would the OEM heat shield withstand the heat of the turbo manifold?

chime in.

thats just flat out not going to work. there is nowhere for you to bolt the factory shield up to the manifold as there is no bracketing on the greddy mani.

you can, however, reuse the black aluminum heat shield that covers the battery and fuse box if you cut part of it.
