hey guys has anyone ever had their inline pro downpipe break? i have their kit with the 5965b and mine has broken twice in less than 4k miles. when i first got the car the downpipe wasnt supported by any bracket or anything, the only hangers is the stock exhaust hangers. Does this pipe need more hangers or something? ps i did have my kit installed by inline pro themselves so i am going to call Ya and see whats going on..Thanks

Do you have a flex pipe welded in and if so how long is it?
DSDDCD welded in a bracket that attaches to the stock bracket location. See his build thread for pics.
Ho much power you making?

I've never had any issues like this.
I have a flex pipe welded in the downpipe though. You have to have some flex somewhere or it will continue to break, regardless of brackets and hangers.
My downpipe doesn't have any hangers on it, just the exhaust does in the stock locations.
But yeah, I would just call Ya up, those guys will take care of you.

I know that the bracket does not look like much but it is 3/16" 304 plate that I had to heat to bend even a small amount. The other thing you HAVE to put in is some form of flexible joint or coupling.

thats so wierd..my downpipe has the exact same flex pipe as yours. when i called Ya they even commented that I am the first person to break a downpipe once much less twice..Ya said they will try and put a longer flex pipe on mine and hope that can fix it. im really worried it will break again after a few hundred or 1k miles again and wanted them to give me a new downpipe, but Ya was saying the bolt patterns arent all exactly the same and so my downpipe might be slightly different enough that another new one may not work..and thoughts or ideas guys?

I think Ya could have just simply said "we are going to fix yours, you dont need a new one".

A longer flex will help out with your problem. Hence why I'm going to be running a 10 inch flex.
