Can't remove the hose to change my OIL :(
Well, I had my car slightly elevated so I couldn't get my whole body underneath, but I unscrewed the metal clamp thing to slide off the rubber hose to drain my oil, and though the metal screw loosened, thats about all that happened. I did not want to pull the hose to hard becuase I figured I would rip it. Do I have to completely remove the metal clamp thing then twist & pull off the rubber hose and replace the metal clamp with a new one? Please offer some help, apparently Im an idiot
Just unscrew the fitting going into the oil pan if you are afraid of yanking the line off (Be sure the clamp for the hose is still loose so the fitting will turn in the hose), otherwise loosen the clamp really good and just yank the hose off.
Yeah that is the most retarded part of the greddy kit IMO. They have a sweet oil relocation kit with Earls lines and then put that piece of junk as the oil return.
I'm going to go to a braided Earls line with a Earls fitting connection at the pan like my comptech supercharger had.

Grab the hose gently with a pair of channel locks and twist it clockwise like you're trying to tighten it. That will unstick the hose from the fitting, and it should just slide off. The band is a screw type isn't it? No need replacing it, just retighten it. You should slide the band down the hose, off of the fitting, to make it come off easier. Good luck.
Are you sure the hose isn't a one time fitting?
Some hoses and fittings are designed to go on and stay on. Forcing it off may damage it.
And why would you remove the hose anyway? Just unscrew the fitting from the sump.

Oh, so they haven't used fittings like the Comptech. I see your problem.
I would upgrade it to a set up like the Comptech where you have a threaded adaptor in the sump plug hole and a fitting with a loose collar that clamps the fitting in place.
