if you have an oil pressure gauge you can watch the pressure drop at idle as you depress the clutch = a good sign its crankwalk. Hopefully just a dirty sensor or corroded wire

My engine crankwalked but I don't think that may be your problem, sounds electrical. In any event, what clutch/pressure plate did the previous owner run?

the same one, but never experienced any problems with it.

with the clutch depressed my oil pressure has hit about 20psi a few times,

i am hoping it is not- the car does seem to run well

With the car on and someone depressing the clutch pedal, I was able to see my crank pulley move in and out. At this point, however, I had thrust washers laying in the oil pan.

I have the same problem, if you push in the clutch and the car drops rpm or stalls , then you have a thrust washer problem. Look at your crank pully and get some one to push In the clutch and see if you have any push and pull play!!!

I have a act pp and the engine is 3 weeks new from laskye raceing!!! I am call mike on Monday!!!!
