Um you took someones AEM with custom tune and put in on your car without having it tuned for your car?

Not good, not good at all.

You probably need the 3-bar calibrated or something goofy, and then you need to go visit a tuner.
I bought his whole turbokit too.

The map should have been good enough to start and idle and limp it to a dyno to get tuned.....

Theoretically yes, but things don't always work out that way. It's probably a map sensor issue or could be something not plumbed right (vacuum hose in the wrong place etc)

If your running stock plugs they may not be up to snuff so to speak. The spark may actually be getting blown out or quenched from too much fuel.

You should try a step colder than stock with a gap around .032-.034 (stock is like .040-.042)

However I know you don't believe me but it really sounds like a map sensor issue. Ignition needs 3 things

Fuel
Spark
Oxygen

You said you have fuel and spark, that leaves out oxygen.

Btw I don't believe calibrating a map sensor has anything to do with it's placement.

I had mase on the phone today and read him teh readings from my aem. He says my map sensor is reading correctly.

I'm using BKR7E's @ .32
I even added 5 gallons of fresh fuel to try that....

He gave me 2 different maps to try. neither worked.....

I think he's kinda stumped too....

All my ground are secure... how do i check if my spark is enough??? MAybe i'm not getting a strong enough spark. (all my engine grounds are good)

Hmmm, the only other thing to check would be timing. If the timing is off by a lot I suppose that could do it.

I think your going to have to get the car into a shop with a decent tuner to figure this one out.

Was the car running before you bought the AEM and the kit from the previous owner? Did you verify his car ran perfectly fine?
