Default Car wont start!

Ok so i finally got my car back together today.

Went from Stock to

3mm headgasket
1000rc injectors w/ resistor box
walbro fuel pump
mini-me w/ gt35r
gm 3bar map sensor.

AEM 1052.

I bought the entire kit used from a guy on teh board.

He took it off his car and i installed it on my car.

There's a map on the AEM and everything.

UPDATE:
-checked for fuel. Spark plugs are wet
-checked spark. Held coil to engine and saw spark
-Checked compression. It's good
-checked engien grounds. both there
-check map sensor. plugged in
-checked timing. cam gears aligned good

PLEASE HELP!!! I'm running out of ideas....

Come on man more info. What did it sound like, did it even crank? Are your spark plugs getting wet when you crank it. How do you know your getting spark and fuel.

Yes it cranks. Just doesn't fire.

I pulled a coil pack and held it close to a ground ot check for spark.

I can smell a bit of fuel. AND i have a fuel pressure guage on my fuel rail which read fuel.....

After putting the 3mm hg on, did you adjust the timing in the EMS for the added movement of the cam gears? I'm not positive if this would cause that or not but worth a try.

If he had the 3mm hg too and his car was running fine, then it should be fine on yours. I don't know a whole lot about adjusting that part of the timing so I cant tell you how to check it. You may be able to copy a picture of your timing map and send it to a tuner like Evans that could look at it and tell you if its set up correctly for the 3mm hg.

Well, there's spark and fuel. That leaves compression and timing to check. I'd triple make sure that the timing is perfect. Even 1 tooth off is enough to keep the car from starting.

Um you took someones AEM with custom tune and put in on your car without having it tuned for your car?

Not good, not good at all.

You probably need the 3-bar calibrated or something goofy, and then you need to go visit a tuner.
