CAUTION TO THE METH people
well, as luck would have it the second I got my car back I almost grenaded the motor
Everytime I get in the car I do a higher gear pull just to get into boost to make sure the AFR's are doing what they should and I look to see if the METH is spraying when it's supposed to as well as proper amount.
So All was well and then I went to pass in the right lane in 6th gear and I noticed when the METH started to spray the guage blew by the 550cc/min and basically pegged the maximum and the red light started blinking showing an overflow sistuation.
I knew right away something was up, probably a line that blew off.
Now I believe I have failsafe when I am in boost and it is sending an error message but I dint notice anything out of the ordinary, car did not hit any type of limiter or anything like that. Now once I saw the gauge go past where it was supposed to I let off so the red light was only lit for a fraction of the second and I was at 4,000RPMS, barely getting into boost, I maybe hit 9lbs
So I pull over pop the hood and see what has happened. The alternator pulley rubbed a hole right through the line
When we took off the Charge piping and stuff I forgot to make a note to put the line on the opposite side of the water hose, when it's the other way the line could hit the pully, and as luck would have it, mine did. Once I cut the line and placed it on the opposite side all was well and meth was back to spraying normal
If it was'nt for the flow gauge I would not have known the line blew off and would be F----D. I am pretty sure I have a failsafe, however I don't know if if an OVERFLOW situation causes the failsafe to trip. I will find out.
Anyway I just want to cation those guys to spend the $200.00 Well worth it for me

Or you can make sure the line is out of harms way, and ran through grommets where applicable.
Shortcuts always catch up to you imo.
