I have a 2002 with a Vortech S/C. I had these codes come up but the CEL will come on for a while and then go out later and the car will also run well at times and not well at others corresponding with the CEL. I know that I need to check the wiring to the TDC sensors. I just tonight pulled the fuse to reset the computer and now the car will not start at all. I pumped the throttle pedal and then smelled the exhaust and no smell of fuel at all. Is that unusual? Could I have a failed fuel pump? The engine ran with no problems just before parking several days ago. Any help will be appreciated.

 

You need to check your connections to the timing controller. If you have an open connection the car will not start.

 

Thanks Slow. Just looked behind the side kickpanel and squeezed the press-on connector and now car starts and run ok.
