Changes AEM EMS 1012 to 1052
My AEM EMS 1012 has died and I need to purchase a 1052.
Generally the pinouts are the same but I know boost control moves to the D connector. What other differences are there?

Ok, I can conclude that the only physical change required is to change Boost Control from pin A11 to D16.
But now I have another problem. I got the 1052 and updated it to Firmware 1.19 and uploaded my map. Fired up the car and she started first go, but is only firing 3 cylinders.
I checked the coil packs, plugs and injectors and swapping them made no difference.
This sounds surprisingly like the issue I had that caused me to swap the engine but it can't be another cracked ring. The engine ran fine before the EMS died. I wonder if there is software differences in the EMS that mean injector 3 isn't being driven. I know that you use injector drivers #1, #2, #4 and #5.
I'll check it out tomorrow but if anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated.
