Default Changing Comptech boost pulley

For those of you who have swapped pulleys:

I'm going from stock to 4" (7# AP1) and was wondering if anyone has any hints or advice for making the swap easier.

Specifically:
Minimum number of bracket bolts to remove.
Easiest way to loosen/tighten pulley bolt while keeping it from turning freely (cinch belt? Rubber clamp? Breaker bar? Impact wrench... which I'd have to buy?)

I've heard the whole swap only takes 1-2 hours....

The pulley bolt goes all the way through. Just use another socket on the other side and hold it. The pulley side will break free.

Buy or rent a "pulley remover" very cheap and will make life a hell of a lot easier.

To do this properly, you will need to remove the snail. I have done this several times and the easiest way is break the bolt loose with everything still attached (belt and all still on). Then once the bolt is loose remove the snail and use a pulley puller to reove the existing pulley. On re-install, just slide the pulley on and use the nut to press the pulley back onto the shaft (cordless impact is good to use, so long as max torque does not exceed 35-40 ft. lbs. Hope this helps.
