Default Changing downpipe and exhaust system

Just wondering if one changes the exhaust components such as the downpipe and exhaust, if another trip to the dyno to retune is necessary?

I currently have a 2.5" turbo back exhaust system and I'm wondering if I were to go to a full 3" turbo back, would I have to go to the dyno.

Spool up time on the turbo will change so yes you need to have it retuned.

A cleanup tune will be necessary . I found out for myself with my turbo integra . I changed the downpipe and it leaned out the tune by half a point . Dont take any chances or you may be sorry .

As long as you replace anything that changes the charactheristics of your setup, its adviceable to go to a dyno and check how the tune is standing. As stated above you will most likely only need some sort of touch up tune. Should be a quick session.

Yeah, it was just something I was tossing around the idea of upgrading to a full 3" exhaust some time in the future as well as possibly a couple of other things.

I just wanted to see if I would be making for than one trip, so if that's the case, I'll most likely wait until I have all the components I want to upgrade and do it in one shot.

On a different note, this may be a silly question but I wouldn't have to dyno again if I were to change my radiator would I?

LOL No dyno or tune redo needed from a radiator change.
