If you are trying to purchase to purchase a kit on a budget like me, I would recommend buying a used kit from someone on the board. Correct me if I am wrong but Inline's kit is one of the lower priced kit's for under $4000. As everyone else has mentioned, do it the right way to save you headaches, and save you money in the long run.
I did that 4 years ago. I bought a used UR kit for $3600 and then upgraded from there and like was stated, it never ends to what you will need next. I now have well over $15,000 in my whole setup (AEM, turbo kit, clutch, rearend, exhaust, etc.) and that's without the built engine.

For anyone that wants to know what it would cost to turbo the S when you are finally done and that's just the basic reliable setup; count on around $9000-$10,000.

Inlines kit starts at under $4k. Then add on all the other stuff you need like...

EMS, Injectors, injector clips, exhaust, clutch, HG, oil filter relocation kit, boost controller, gauges, gauge pod, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc,

The list never ends.

Bottom line, if it sounds too good to be true....it probably is
I was aware of this but I was comparing Inline's kit to the OP's kit. The kit stated, although questionable in quality, is very similar to the items that comes with Inline's kit, minuse the EMS.

because why pay more money than you have to? Especially if you are already experienced with forced induction from other platforms and can carry over that knowledge. Granted, there are those out there that have never been boosted and don't know all the additional work that goes into it, but then there are those of us who have plenty of experience with building FI setups and know how to properly "low buck" one.

We are talking about not using cheap parts, not fabbing things up yourself with good quality stuff. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you buy good quality parts.

A lot of people though, will buy cheap ebay crap and piece things together and have nothing but junk in the end and a car that doesn't run properly because they chose cheap parts.

So for 2300 i could have a turbo'd s2k backed by a 3 year/ 30k mile warranty.... just wanted to know what everyone though.
I agree with what everyone else has said. Cheap and turbo should not be used in the same sentence.

One thing nobody else has said yet is that if you put a turbo kit on your car, you will no longer have a valid warranty. If something breaks on your car, they will undoubtedy blame it on the turbo and will not pay for the repairs.
