problem we have seen with the aftermarket springs is the constant adjustment (crio-treating seam to help prevent this), and the extra tension on the timing chain puts on the tensionor, failing tensioners!!!! about every 7-8,000 miles
Stock spings work fine - never seen a floating valve in a s2000! NA or FI
