Yes oem sleeves and forged pistons. Why have there been problems with that? The factory slugs are forged as well, and I havent heard of anyone using CP pistons and having problems with stock sleeves. I fully assembled it yesterday, so I guess i will find out tomorrow. Thats when the engine will be fully bolted up and ready to crank.


I did the head myself(it was very VERY easy). But i did order the parts from laskey racing. If you want to do the head yourself pm me and ill walk you through it. ITS VERY EASY.

i didnt know you could do pistons with out sleeving the block, this is great news, what rods u go with, pauter?
