Default Chefs go at 1/4 miles

Ok guys so I went to atco raceway in jersey Friday.. I did 5 runs .. I never got a perfect launch .. Run 4 video is a 1500 rpm launch and run 5 is a 4000 launch .. Run 5 was my best of night . Here's the ticket .. I'm 84 left lane . [attachment=86679::] I could be in the 11 s if I keep my 60 ft time down .. Next time I will launch at 5 k and commit more .. It's very sticky and takes a while to get used to the feeling on the rear end .. Thank god I have the ford diff and 1000 hp axels .. https://youtu.be/EsRd7gHcXXErun 4 https://youtu.be/fa5bV815AnYrun5

420 hp and 300 tq? doesn't sound right.

also be careful even with the ford rear end. Key is being smooth. Even with the diff and axles you move the weakest link to the driveshaft and than transmission.

yea I know that and i don't drag race often just wanna see what she can do .. I heard if i take a half second of my 60 foot it will gain me a second over all.. If you see when I launch I get a moment of lapse ..

Hmm, these cars really suck for drag racing it seems. Trap speed seems low for a car with 420whp.

Definitely not something they're made for (and for that I'm grateful, because they're fantastic at what they ARE made for), but keep in mind this is a centrifugal blower and torque peak is biased very late in the rev range. A 420hp turbo s2000 would have a much better trap speed, as there is more power under the curve.
