300trq isnt correct for 420whp on a centrifugal blower. 280trq tops. The only way 300trq would happen at this hp is if its a stroker and or if the belt is slipping at peak hp and shaving the peak hp number off the chart, normally providing 450+ whp without belt slip.

Ap2 stock rev limit and short ap2 trans is not an ideal set up for maximizing 1/4 times. Ap1 transmission and revving to 9k rpm with a 3.90 will improve the trap speed by several miles per hour letting the car rev out and not needing to shift into 5th. Running a 3.60 rear end and boosting the car up to 450whp+ should get it into the mid 120's.

your correct it's 280 not 300 tq.. I just checked my old thread ..

I have always loved drag racing. Cool car. Launch higher, even at 4k the launch was a bit bogged. Good luck on the 11 sec goal!

the only negative i will say is need more mph. gonna be tough to squeak out an 11 with a 113 trap. slicks and a 5k+ hard core launch maybe. cut a 1.5-1.6 short. even then. mo powa!

I need a 8.8 diff. I would love to be in the 11's. With no launching (2.4 sec 60ft.) i managed a 12.8 sec run only.

Nice. Good launch should be definitely very low 12's to 11's. I'd think the MPH would be a good 5 mph higher than that though.

Stock motor. Inlinepro dual valve springs/titanium retainers. Pfab elt top mount/precision 6165bb turbo. Id1000. Sos dual pump surge tank. Aem fuel rail. Full blown fpr. 3"exhaust. Comptech reinforce diff. Stock transmission. CC stag 4 clutch.
