The ONLY reason I'd go SC is for small tracks or for auto-X, due to the constant throttle input changes.

Power across the curve isn't even comparable nor is max potential power. Slap a GTX3076 and I want to hear someone complain about spool time..... it's about instant in the 5k+ range.
You are talking about transient response not spool.

I would partially agree, for the street I prefer a turbo, the mid range makes it a real blast. On the track they work great also but the cost and time to build a proper with heat management, vibration management..... is very high. With a proper tune and turbo selection a turbo is a great choice. On the other hand the power delivery is super smooth and predicable with a supercharger, the cost is low and heat management is not an issue at all.

I have been fortunate enough to drive cars with a multitude of supercharger kits and turbo kits. In a perfect world I would have both.

Yep, that is why I made it, there is always such a debate but both are great.

Seems to counter everything I've read unless you had some serious cooling mods. I know this is old, but I'd still like some clarification on this...
No problems with the coolant temperature, never measured the oil temp, and all my builds have incorporated an increasing degree of heat management. The only issued I ever experienced was when I tried the Mishimoto fan shroud, it made the car run hot with the factory radiator.

That is one of the big things I always try and impress upon others. I have been thoroughly impressed with the Inconel heat shielding from ATP, doing the manifold, turbine housing and downpipe for most kits make a huge difference. Now if you are talking about oil and antifreeze then my preference is to use the PWR radiator with integrated oil circuit.

The 1500 requires a custom mounting bracket, yes?
Bolt on with the SOS Kit, new brackets are required for the Comptech
I thought the 1500 does NOT bolt on the SOS kit?
