Default Clutch

So here's the deal I was running my old set-up with with the Clutch Masters FX300 and now my car changed a lot. It has a Laskey Racing fully built motor, GT3582R turbo, InlinePro 600WHP intercooler, 3" downpipe exhaust, Full-Race manifold and oil catch can, 1000cc RC injectors, Hondata K-Pro, and more can't think off the top of my head. Anyway needed to know if I should change my clutch out or if my current would be ok. I am shooting for 500WHP daily driven and needed the pros advice. Thanks for all the countless help. Project is near completion.

P.S. if there are spelling/grammer errors it is because I am on my phone.

So you got the GT3582R and want to just daily drive it, or comfortably daily drive it? I'm not sure, but you might be getting full boost around 5500-6000 rpm. How much psi you planning on running?

Also, you can go to the clutch manuf's website, and see if you can find the torque rating on the clutch, then figure how much torque you'll be producing, and match the clutch.

Well I am not only daily driving it, but that needs to be taken into consideration. I will be tracking the car heavily next summer. I just needed to be put in the right direction for a high horsepower clutch.

Well I can say for sure what ever clutch you get ....a light weight flywheel such as the 8pound findanza will dramatically increase your holding capacity and clutch life, not to mention increasing your main bearings life. If you haven't already, make sure you at least upgrade to the 13 pound ap1 flywheel, that will drop you 9 pounds off your ap2 flywheel, that's significant!

So the AP1 flywheel is lighter than the AP2 flywheel? What do those guys think with the InlinePro Competition Clutch? I was thinking of buying that, but is it worth it? does it drive well? And is it good for daily driving and track use? Any other clutch recommendations?

Awesome information man thanks for all the input. So now I know I need a an AP1 flywheel and now the last thing I need to settle on is a solid clutch!
