Default Clutch options

I am soon to be boosting my car and wondering what clutches you guys are running. My power rage is around 450-600 and I know my OEM clutch isn't going to hold up. I would prefer something a bit light on the leg and be able to hold that much power. Any reccomendations? Thanks

cheapest option at that power level would be the competition stage 5 with a heavy plate. If you want something light, I would recommend the carbonetics twin with a standard plate.

I have a competition clutches stage 5 that I used for 5000 miles when I was turbo'd. It was awesome. Actually lighter than stock on the leg, but held great. I am going back to NA and it is out right now. PM me if interested. I'll make you a good deal.

I have the sprung stage 4. The pedal is lighter than stock at least it seems. At first, I hated it, but after a couple thousand miles of breaking it in, it isn't bad at all. When breaking it in, it was literally on/off, but now its much better. I think I'd be able to daily it with it.

i'm dd with CC stage 4. CC lightweight flywheel, lighter than stock, takes about a week to get use to, then you're good to go, clutches are rated at tq not hp

ask yourself, do i want to spend a lot of a little.

a lot, twin plate SOS kit would be da sickness.

a little, CC stage 5 with there flywheel. would chatter from a stop if you dont slip it, and is def more on/off then a disc clutch, but will hold!

good luck, car will HAUL ASS with 600whp!

I don't know if I'd run an even lighter flywheel. That'd make it harder to start from a stop as theres less inertia to get the car moving.

I reused my stock AP1 flywheel and haven't had any issues with it.
