I had a Competition Clutch Stage 5 in my car with daily driving at 530HP had no problems. The clutch also held on the dyno @ 727HP and 466TQ(not sure how long it would of lasted at that level though). Im now running the Competition Clutch Twin.

Great thread! I'm still running the original OEM clutch after 7.5 years and 55k miles. It's starting to slip sometimes in 3rd with the Greddy kit now, so I'll have to upgrade.

I used an ACT OLD style heavy duty pressure plate with an ACT 6 puck sprung disk. never slipped once, and when i pulled the tranny after a year of 500whp the clutch looked brand new.

pedal was heavier than stock, and engagement was harsh, with a lightweight flywheel it was a pain to drive.

BUT it held the power no problem, and was dirt cheap.

a twin disk would be a much better option for driveability and it would hold as much power as you want. BUT it is also easily 3x the price.

its up to you...
