clutch recomendations?
does anybody have any input on teh ACT HDSS street setup? says it holds 383ft/lbs . That would be more than enough for 450whp wouldn't it??
I wanna order a clutch today. It's between the ACT HDSS or teh competition stage 4 clutch....
I think how the ACT isn't a puck clutch, and it says 383ft/lbs but i wanna make sure it holds. and I'm a bit worried about crank walk...

What did you end up getting, ACT or CC?
Now that I've got about 1k miles on the CC Stage 4, it has really mellowed out in terms of the chatter and noise. I still have to rev to 2k, but I am really happy with the decision to go with the CC stage... after the fact.
Very little chatter if any and all the strange noises have just about all gone away. And the performance is bad a** - I can actually chirp the tires in 3rd at 55 mph or in 4th gear. The launch at dead stop will take some getting used to, but I am spinning tires in second gear on dry pavement. I do have a supercharger and I was never able to spin them with the stock clutch, probably because it was burnt.
