Clutch recommendations
Hi guys,
on the way to Euromeet 2009 I burnt up my clutch.
It was a competition Ironman together with a lightweight flywheel.
Mase told me it could be that the flywheel was made of aluminium and that caused the clutch to burn up.
But anyway, I'm not getting the Ironman again so what are the options?
I think a twin carbon would be nice but I also want it for daily drive.
Is there one?
I think the engine is producing around 500hp. It's a 2.2l built block, 9k rpm limit, gt3076r turbo @ 23psi.
Thanks for the help.

Actually most are for track.
I know some will find a carbonetics will do fine for daily drive but most will say it's complete shit and you'll go crazy in a traffic jam. Good for track, not good for traffic jams.
What are your experiences with the clutch master? How is the pedal feel, grab, warming up needed, etc..?
well, the CC ironman is weaksauce compared to whatelse they have available. try there 4 puck sprung setup, on there site its the stage 5, but if you call inline pro they call it stage 4. its confusing, but this clutch will hold 500whp, and will have stock pedeal feel. it comes with there flywheel so that it wont eat up either the flywheel or the clutch prematurely. my buddy had this in his s, the biggest thing you notice is take off, you need to feed more rpm in then a stock clutch, but its not bad at all once you get use to it. inlinepro is haivng a special too, 700 bucks for the flywheel and clutch!
its the 1420 series. http://www.competitionclutch.com/pro...dex.php?id=300
